Q. What is your criteria for
determining whether or not FDD is working?
A. Determining the effectiveness of the FDD program is one of the major
pillars of the SSWWE project. First, we are measuring the amount of
stormwater/groundwater that enters the City’s sanitary sewer system now. Then,
we will compare it with the amounts that entered the system before the FDD
program began. Finally, we will compare the amount of stormwater/ groundwater
that was removed to the goal that was set for the FDD program.
