Q. Administrative Consent Order entered
into by the City with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ)
in 2003 indicates that the City would perform Footing Disconnects on 620 homes
in the targeted areas. Those were completed between 2007 and 2009. Why, then,
is the MDEQ ACO document continually referenced as justification to proceed
with ADDITIONAL FDDs?
A. The ACO actually required the City to perform 799
equivalent FDDs, which have been completed. The ACO requirement has been cited
when giving a history of the program.
