Sign Up For Tech Briefing from Robert and Nick or Cresson

As we move into the alternative consideration phase, we are giving all CAC members a chance to talk in small groups (twos or threes), with our Project Managers, providing an opportunity for give and take and detailed Q&A.  Early in the project, Robert gave Frank Burdick an individual briefing on flows and both agreed the briefing was helpful. We are now  formally extending this opportunity to all CAC members.

The available briefing times are show on the calendar. All meetings will be held at City Hall.  We are trying to arrange participation of the Building Department staff member on the backup code issue. Please let me know if you are interested in attending such a meeting.

Please let me know your desired time and date and I will keep the running list.

I have an interest in the small group meetings. I will be able to attend late morning or early afternoon on either the fifth or twelfth.

Wed Feb 5 1:30 to 3:00 is the best for me. I would also be available for the 3:30 or 10:30 meetings that day, if you are trying to consolidate groups. Let me know which to attend.

Please confirm if the Buiiding Code officials will be at all meeting time slots or indicate the time slots that they will be available.

 Is it possible to have any of these briefings on a day other than a Wednesday? Perhaps a Monday or Thursday?

Jim – my schedule is the bottleneck. I’m available on Thursday the 6th, but we didn’t offer that day because it is the date of the public meeting. I’m happy to meet with you that afternoon. I’m also available on Monday Feb 17.

We just received confirmation that the head of our Building Department will be available for the evening session on the 12th.  We may also be able to get him to one of the other sessions during the day if there is interest.

Sharing a message below from Nick regarding the Tech Meetings covering some logistics and details.  Folks attending each slot have been confirmed separately.  Please call my cell phone if there are any issues finding us or getting into the building.  734-635-5398.

Mr. Pelosi - we need to coordinate an alternative meeting place besides City Hall - it's closed for Presidents day. All we need is a quite place and some materials to write and draw on.  Perhaps we could meet at one of the local libraries?  Do you have a suggestion for a place that is convenient for you?

Here is the schedule and room locations:
 
Feb 5th: 1:30-3:30 p.m., City Hall Basement
Feb 7th: 8:30-10:00 a.m., City Hall 1st Floor Conference Room (North)
Feb 12th: 6:30-8:00 p.m., City Hall Basement
Feb 17th: 8:30-10:00 a.m. – I don’t think this was one of the dates we agreed on previously.  City Hall is closed this day for President’s Day. If we want to keep this date, it will have to be at another location.  Robert, do you want to set that up with Mr. Pelosi?
 
For the evening meeting, it might be good to give the attendees a cell number for somebody.  The basement should be accessible after hours, but it can be finicky.
