Question re: OHM employee tasked with assessing problems with FDDs

Could you give the full name of the OHM employee (Greg) who attended the Feb. 6 2014 Public Meeting and said he would be addressing the most serious problems associated with homeowners' FDDs? Also, it would be helpful if the SSWWE CAC was kept apprised of what problems he finds and what solutions he proposes. Thanks.

Robert Czachorski on 7 Feb, 2014:

Judy,

His name is Greg Marker.  His cell phone number is (734) 368-5240. His email is greg.marker@ohm-advisors.com. You are welcome to call him if you have specific questions for him regarding his investigation.

Just one little nit-pick item that I want to be sure is clear:  Greg has not been charged with addressing or "fixing" the issues at this time.  Greg is going to contact each of the residents with the most serious problems, understand what the issues is, and document the cause, and recommended correction.  This information will be reported back to the City and the CAC for their use.  The City will direct follow-up corrections, and the CAC can use the information collected to help answer the question "If FDD goes forward, what improvements would be needed", which is the topic for our April CAC meeting.

Take care,
Robert

Judy Hanway on 7 Feb, 2014:

Thank you for the clarification and the information Robert. I misunderstood Greg's mission when it was explained last night.

Michelle Lovasz on 8 Feb, 2014:

Greg was chosen by OHM to undertake this task, but since it is also in
service of the City (via OHM) could you please clarify Greg’s credentials
for his position? Does his company have a name?

Jim Osborn on 8 Feb, 2014:

I've spoken with Greg and I know that he is perfect for the tasks assigned to him!

He will be thorough, see everything, and not pull any punches about what is wrong or right with a FDD installation, and he will be making great recommendations about fixing these problems.

Michelle Lovasz on 8 Feb, 2014:

Jim, I appreciate your evaluation and enthusiasm but I hope my question still gets answered with specifics.

Nick Hutchinson on 10 Feb, 2014:

Michelle, just to clarify, Greg Marker is an employee of OHM - not part of a separate company. We can also provide his credentials.

Robert Czachorski on 10 Feb, 2014:

Greg is preparing his resume to share with the CAC and we will post it shortly when it is ready.

Take care,
Robert

Robert Czachorski on 10 Feb, 2014:

Attached is Greg's professional resume. We will bring paper copies to the CAC meeting on Thursday. Greg will also be at the meeting Thursday night to meet the full CAC and answer questions about his qualifications and the investigation in Ann Arbor.  We are confident that you will find him highly qualified and able to do the tasks being asked of him.

Take care,
Robert
