Recommending Voluntary FDDs - HOW?

If we end up in a consensus that FDDs should be continued, even of a smaller number than had been anticipated, but continued nonetheless, there are widespread strong feelings about how they continue.  It would be helpful if we all weighed in on this.

I've made a new thread because we've had quite a bit of discussion already and we might be able to tighten up here to find where any looser ends are.

Please don’t push so hard for consensus just yet. Let each CAC member
sort through the information at his/her own pace. Some important
information hasn’t even been presented yet…

I have a concern; there has been a lot of talk amongst some of the CAC members on Basecamp and at the informal meetings at Panera. But there are some CAC members who have not attended these informal meetings and also some who have not expressed themselves on Basecamp. I don't think anything should be decided outside of a planned CAC meeting. As Kathy said, we still have a lot of information to hear about and to sort through.

Kathy, Judy, and All, for that matter – do not by any means feel that I am
pushing for it because I am not. I am looking for it. Sometimes consensus
is there without all saying so, sometimes it is assumed there is not. I
just opened a thread so we could weigh in.
