Received a post card about a project at 2250 Ann Arbor Saline Road recently since I live close to the building site. Thought it would be of interest to the CAC because:
1. This area has been vacant land (formerly farmland I think).
2. The project includes a "regional detention basin" to help with stormwater problems.
3. This may be tied in with the Village Oaks/Chaucer Court Study of 2010
The link for info is: The project is proposed as a new "market rate", active adult, residential condominium building. The contemplated building would rise 3 stories on top of a single level of a mostly below grade parking garage. The project would also include a regional storm water detention basin to help with flooding issues in the area. See the announcement in the link below for more information:
