On Lohr Road, 1/2 mile north of Textile, 2miles south of Ellsworth, on the west side of the road is a speed trap where Pittsfield Police sit and wait. I always go by at 58, yes 3 over, and pushing it, and yesterday, instead of police, I saw a township work crew. My curiosity got the better of me so I stopped and I inquired as to what this facility was used for.
It was a sewage pumping plant, and a large one. It also has natural gas powered generators. I noticed tonight that on the maps, a red line, or "pipe" ran from it due east south of the airport, and then stops.
Why? Where does all of this, a stuff go from that pumping plant? To Ann Arbor's WWTP, or to one in Bellville? And, why were some of these pipes not connected on the map? Have terrorists already removed sections? (I'm kidding)
