At the last CAC meeting, we proposed a revised timeline that included a May public meeting on the FDD survey results.  Based on feedback, we rescheduled that meeting to July.  In the process, we rethought the entire timeline - taking into account requests raised by the CAC: such as - getting a handle on the Storm Study results, defining budget and cost parameters, defining community values, understanding the TOAG's perspective, digesting the results of the mitigation process and incorporating them into the recommendation - not to mention the work of understanding the impact of climate change and growth on the risks of future basement backups.  Long story short - we propose extending the project until November, as shown in the attached timeline.   In total, this is a five month extension from the original July proposed end date and will require more of your time than originally proposed.  However, if there has been one takeaway for me from working with you as a group, it is your dedication to making recommendations that you can stand by with complete integrity.  As we have really just started working with the data and understanding how it connects to the bigger picture, a time extension seems to logically follow.

PS - on a final note, Mark suggested moving the FDD meeting to September to increase participation.  This is a sound idea, but overall we decided that getting back to the public with results sooner was the driving force.  We can always hold more meetings if needed in the fall.
