Question re: First Martin Corporation

Charlie and all,

Noticed a person named Darren McKinnon from First Martin Corporation has been added to the Project team. Could you please explain when and why this was done? What role does Mr. McKinnon play?

For those of you who were unable to attend the meeting last night, Darren McKinnon asked to join the SSWWEP CAC a few weeks ago.  Darren is a civil engineer and a resident of Ann Arbor, as well as an employee of the First Martin Corporation, a development company based here in Ann Arbor.  Darren has attended a couple of the CAC meetings, and because of his background in civil engineering, we do not feel it will be any problem for him to get up to speed.

My apologies for not announcing this earlier. That was due to an e-mail problem between myself and Charlie.

Nick--Is it typical for businesses or corporations to have representation on Citizen Advisory Committees?

It is not at all unusual for business owners or their representatives to be part of advisory committees. Businesses are often property owners and taxpayers as well, and can add a valuable diversity of opinions to such groups.
