DOM Considerations

Please find attached a document which will be the centerpiece of our DOM topic on Wednesday.  We are hoping to achieve a consensus recommendation from the CAC re. the DOM program.

This is a good starting point for the discussion.  As always with these types of issues, the devil is in the details.  I have the following thoughts regarding the potential changes:

  • The entire sanitary sewer system map needs to be made public so that someone can determine if a property will be upstream of one of the 5 areas.
  • What would replace Table A? I have suggested that the mechanical engineer calculate the total proposed fixture flow and then apply some sort of occupancy rate.
  • Could the developer either pay the city directly or alternatively, directly fund the design and/or construction of a previously identified project (one of the 5?)
